Welsh Whisperers. Bring the whole family and listen to magical stories from Barmouth and the beautiful wild country of Gwynedd, told by the Dragon Storytellers.
This FREE event is suitable for age 0 - 100 and everyone is welcome.
Stories will be mainly told in English, with a sprinkling of Welsh. No need to book but please be on time so you don't miss anything!

We are delighted to present to you: Pedair!
Pedair, feminine form of 'pedwar' ('four' in Welsh) draws on the talents of four of Wales' most prominent and award-winning folk artists: Gwenan Gibbard, Gwyneth Glyn, Meinir Gwilym and Siân James. Groundbreaking international artists in their own right, all four thrive on collaboration and the thrill of live performance. Together they bring to life traditional material with new arrangements on harps, guitars, piano and accordion.
Their live performances have captured the imaginations and hearts of audiences with their sweeping harmonies, fresh interpretations of the Welsh folk tradition, and intimacy of songwriting.
Bringing together their unique gifts as song-tellers, the source material and inspiration from the poetic, oral and folk traditions of Wales and beyond. This is coupled with their deftness as songwriters, responding to the current state of the world, the resilience of nature, with a particular interest in giving voice to the woman.

Sherlock's Excellent Adventure!

Our Star Theatre Company present their acclaimed comedy, following sell-out runs at Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes, and three UK-wide tours.

Follow Sherlock Holmes and his incomparable sidekick Dr John Watson on this riveting, hitherto unpublished case ...
Damsel in distress Lucy Matravers engages Arthur Conan Doyle's famous sleuth Holmes and his partner Watson to resolve a dispute over a family will. Little do they know that this small case brings Holmes straight into the clutches of his arch enemy, James Moriarty!

This riotous spoof is taken on by four actors, minimal furnishings and a ton of jolly-good fun!

This year we want to give traders a good lead in time to these events and make the booking process simpler.

The Fayres will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm.

We have kept our prices low again this year still £15

And again coming to Barmouth!
