Volunteers are the wind beneath The Dragon's wings
Being a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on a team of volunteers to help us with the running of events and film nights at the theatre.
What volunteer roles are available?
- Front of House
- Meet, greet and seat the audience
- Check and sell tickets
- The Bar
- Set up the bar
- Serve drinks at events
- Collect glasses
- Clean up after events
- Stewarding
- Provide assistance to patrons in the auditorium during events
- Leaflet and Poster Distribution
- Take the What's On leaflets to local businesses to display
- Put up posters on local notice boards around the local area
- Take leaflets and posters to the local caravan parks during the season
How often would I be needed?
This would vary depending on our programme of events. How often you volunteer will be up to you. You're welcome to volunteer for as many or as few events as your free time allows.
When would I be needed?
Mostly in the evenings, for a couple of hours. We don't expect you to be available for every event.
